Outstanding, is the comment we are hearing from people who have seen our 2006 Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Commemorative. David Yellowhorse continues to amaze us with his artistic talents and this Edition is truly an excellent example of those abilities. David starts with a mirror polished Buck Bowie and proceeds to turn it into a piece of stunning Navajo Artwork. The blade receives the exclusive NATIVE STEEL treatment perfected by David, a process done thru a hand grinding and anodizing operation. After the blade is completed to his standards, David turns the handle into an eye-catching art form. One side of the handle features the official RMEF logo, while the other carries 2006, both hand cut from German silver, and inset into desert ironwood. These cut outs are accented with a combination of blue turquoise, white turquoise, bloody basin jasper and silver strips. The German silver guard receives David's custom texture treatment while the handle is adorned with a leather lanyard attached with white turquoise, blue turquoise and bloody basin jasper beads. Each RMEF 2006 by Yellowhorse carries our HC logo, artist's signature and individual serial number and is featured in a walnut and glass showcase complete with plaque and authenticity certificate. Needless to say, this is one David Yellowhorse Edition that belongs in your collection.
