Another masterpiece from the Master! This is the best way to describe the 2007 Rocky
Mountain Elk Foundation Commemorative by David Yellowhorse. When David told us that the RMEF2007
Edition would be "a little different," we were a bit concerned, but when #001/100 arrived,
needless to say, we were very impressed! David starts with the mirror polished Buck Kalinga
and is his style, proceeds to transform it into a stunning piece of Navajo Artwork. The handles
are slabs of Chinese Web turquoise and feature both the official RMEF logo and 2007 hand cut
from German silver and inlaid into the turquoise. These cut outs are also accented with the
Yellowhorse texture treatment, The handle is completed with hand carved Elk prints and hill
side, along with texture treatment of the German silver guard.
In addition, RMEF2007 is complimented with the very popular Yellowhorse Money clip hand crafted
from German silver and also displaying the official RMEF logo complete with custom texture
work. Both knife and money clip carry our HC logo, individual serial number and Artist's signature
and are showcased in a walnut and glass presentation case complete with plaque and authenticity
certificate.
