Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation 2008 Edition by Yellowhorse/Bradshaw
Catalog # BB/DY/RMEF08 Click here to see a larger image. What a collaboration! Heritage Collectables has united the extraordinary talents of Master Bladesmith Knife maker Bailey Bradshaw and World Famous Navajo Artist David Yellowhorse to create one of our most outstanding Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Editions, and one that we are sure you will want featured in your collection! Bailey begins the 2008 Edition by designing and producing a custom skeleton blade done in 44C, finishing it by hand rubbing to 600 grit, and accenting it with a solid brass guard and pommel. Upon completion of Baileys artistry, the skeleton goes to David Yellowhorse for his enhancement. David hand cuts both the official RMEF logo and 2008 from German silver and inlays them into black jetstone. Custom texturing of a mountain scene in the jetstone, adds distinction to these cutouts. The centerpiece is framed in a combination of Chinese web turquoise, brass strips, bloody basin jasper, jetstone and ironwood spacers. Heritage Collectables is proud to be associated with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and has contributed over $135,000.00 to their Business Partners in Conservation Program. |
