We are proud to present RMEF2003 by Yellowhorse as this year's Commemorative Edition officially licensed by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Artist David Yellowhorse starts by transforming the famous Buck Kalinga into a piece of stunning Navajo Artwork. The kalinga features a mirror polished blade with silver guard. This blade and guard combination is produced exclusively for Heritage Collectables by Buck Knives. David starts by hand cutting the official RMEF logo from German silver and inlaying it into desert ironwood. The handle's reverse side carries the year 2003 which is also hand cut from silver and inlaid by David. This artwork is accented with turquoise, bloody basin jasper, black jet and silver strips. David's custom texturing of the guard, HC logo, individual serial number and David's signature complete this masterpiece.
RMEF2003 by Yellowhorse comes showcased in a velvet lined walnut and glass presentation case complete with plaque and accompanying authenticity certificate signed by David Yellowhorse.
Heritage Collectables has contributed over $60,000.00 to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's Business Partners in Conversation program.
