Heritage Collectables is excited to present RMEF 2004 by Friedly as this year’s officially licensed Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Commemorative Knife. We start with a mirror polished Buck #401 Kalinga blade that Jim Figara of Automated Finishing transforms into a classic piece of artwork. Jim engraves the blade with scrollwork, and highlights the RMEF logo in 24k gold. The years 1984 – 2004 discreetly frame the logo identifying this as a 20th Anniversary Edition. The blade also carries our HC logo, individual serial # and artist’s signature. The handle on RMEF 2004 by Friedly is designed and handcrafted by world-renowned knife maker Dennis Friedly. North American Elk antler is cut, hand stained, polished and custom fit to the blade while Dennis grinds and polishes the German silver guard giving the knife that distinctive Friedly appeal.

A Wyoming native, Dennis has been a knife maker for over 30 years. He began his career with Harvey Draper in 1972, and became a full-time maker in 1979. His work is unmistakable in appearance and known for clean lines and a crisp finish.

Heritage Collectables is extremely proud to offer you this outstanding Dennis Friedly/Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Commemorative.

RMEF2004 by Friedly comes presented in a walnut and glass showcase that has the official RMEF 20th Anniversary logo etched in the glass with Pass It On laser engraved in the showcase. Also included is a satin brass plaque and authenticity certificate signed by Dennis Friedly. Pass It On, the slogan for a five-year habitat conservation blitz, is expected to raise $250 million and impact 2 million acres by the end of 2005.

Heritage Collectables has contributed over $70,000.00 to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Business Partners in Conservation program.
