ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK FOUNDATION - 2002
EDITION Catalog # RMEF2002 Click on image for larger view. Heritage Collectables proudly presents RMEF 2002, a stunning commemorative licensed by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. This edition starts with a Buck Vanguard blade that Jim Figara of Automated Finishing transforms into a beautiful wildlife scene. Jim's artwork features a bull elk with background and traditional scroll pattern that are intricately engraved and selectively plated with 24kt gold. The verbiage ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK FOUNDATION 2002 distinctively defines this scene. Well known knifemaker Don Long of Idaho Custom Knives does his part by using genuine Rocky Mountain Elk antler for the custom handle. Don selects just the right handle to complement the blade. A highly polished guard and butt cap complete this artwork. A cut and polished section of Elk antler is used as the stand and makes for an outstanding piece of artwork. Each RMEF 2002 is numbered, features our HC logo, carries Don Long's signature and comes displayed on a rich walnut and forest green velvet base with acrylic cover and includes an official signed and stamped Authenticity Certificate. Heritage Collectables has contributed more than $45,000.00 to the Elk Foundation's Business Partners in Conservation program. |
