Cuthair II
We are proud to announce the introduction of Cuthair II by Yellowhorse! This striking six-knife Commemorative set is available in a very low edition of 100 signed and numbered pieces. Cuthair II by Yellowhorse is David’s tribute to his grandfather Cuthair Yellowhorse, a highly respected Navajo Silversmith who was born during the Navajo tribe’s long walk home from Fort Sumner to their reservation in Northern Arizona. Each of the editions starts with the Custom Buck #109 with chip-flint blades and German silver bolsters that are hand textured by David. Following is a description of each. The Long Walk Home – is hand-cut from German Silber and is inset into Leopard skin jasper. It is accented with a combination of black jet, red jasper, blue turquoise, and silver strips. The Silversmith – is hand-cut from German silver and inset into white turquoise. It is accented with a combination of black jet, blue turquoise, orange spiny oyster, and silver strips. The Ceremonial – is hand-cut from German silver and inset into Leopard skin Jasper. It is accented with a combination of red coral, black jet, blue turquoise, and silver strips. The Rug Weaver – is hand-cut from German silver and is inset into white turquoise. It is accented with a combination of blue turquoise, sugilite, black jet, and silver strips The Well Digger – is hand-cut from German silver and is inset into leopard skin jasper. It is accented with a combination of white turquoise, red jasper, blue turquoise, and silver strips. The Medicine Man – is hand cut from German silver and inset into white turquoise, it is accented with a combination of red jasper blue turquoise, and silver strips. This stunning collection comes complete with a signed authenticity certificate.
